Account Data
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your public profile data as authorised by you.
Usage Data
We log tool interactions — inputs, outputs, credit consumption, and timestamps — to power your account dashboard, billing, and service improvements.
Payment Data
Credit card and payment details are processed by Razorpay. We store only transaction references and your credit balance — never raw card numbers.
Technical & Device Data
IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral source collected automatically to ensure security, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve Squadexa AI tools
- Process payments and manage your credit wallet
- Send transactional emails (batch job results, receipts, password resets)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Analyse aggregate usage to guide product development
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your content inputs to train AI models or sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers (Razorpay for payments, cloud hosting providers) under strict data-processing agreements
- Legal requirements — when compelled by law, regulation, or valid court order
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with prior notice
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Batch job output files are stored for 30 days after completion, then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
5. Security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. API keys are stored salted and hashed. We conduct periodic security reviews. While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure — please protect your account credentials.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request erasure of your account and associated data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain types of processing
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data

8. Third-Party Services
Our service integrates with third-party providers including Razorpay (payments), Google OAuth (authentication), and cloud infrastructure providers. These services have their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the data practices of those third parties.
9. Children's Privacy
Squadexa AI is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Squadexa AI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
